What is MM2H ?
Malaysian government has Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme in 2002 to promote the country as a retirement destination. It is an Golden Visa Programme, and those approved can get long-term residency renewal every 10 years. This programme was actually a successor of the well-received Silver Hair programme introduced in 1996.

To date, there are more than 50,000 families applied for MM2H which allows the successful applicant to bring along their parents (above 60 years old), children (below 25 years old) and spouse to Malaysia.
